September 11 Salute To Our Country

Posted Date: 11/01/24 (11:11 AM)

"Today our school remembered the tragic events that took place on September 11, 2001. We learned about the plane hitting the south tower at 9:03 that day, the Pentagon being struck at 9:37, and the world having the realization that America was under attack. We honored those who lost their lives and those who protected us that day, and every day since. At RSE, we will never forget."
Denise Sullivan, Superintendent

Students and staff gathered outside by the flagpole to commemorate September 11th. With the flag at half staff and a beautiful, blue sky above, students sang The Star Spangled Banner and listened intently to Denise Sullivan, Superintendent, as she encouraged everyone to complete an act of kindness today in order to recognize the heroism and unity of Americans on that fateful day
