American Indian Territory Traveling Museum Visits Remsenburg-Speonk Elementary School

Remsenburg-Speonk Elementary School welcomed the American Indian Territory traveling museum and exhibit, providing students with an opportunity to explore Native American history, cultures and traditions.

The visit brought a museum learning experience directly to the school, complementing classroom instruction and encouraging students to develop a deeper understanding of Indigenous peoples and their heritage.

Through the exhibit, students could connect with topics beyond the pages of a textbook. 

The program supported the school’s efforts to broaden students’ perspectives and encourage curiosity about others' histories and cultures.
