RSE First Graders Harvest 111 Homegrown Carrots

It was carrot harvest day in our school garden! Our amazing first graders pulled an incredible 111 carrots from the garden, weighing a whopping 14 pounds!

After washing their homegrown harvest, students celebrated with a delicious, healthy snack of fresh carrots with ranch dip. 

What a fun, hands-on way to learn about gardening, nutrition, and the rewards of growing your own food!
