RSE Garden Club Springs into Fall with Fresh Energy and Green Goals
The RSE Garden Club is off and running this fall, picking up right where they left off last spring and throughout the summer months. Students wasted no time getting their hands dirty, tending to the school’s vibrant garden and preparing new spaces for the changing season.
Under the guidance of Maria Plitt, club members revisited garden beds that thrived over the summer, harvesting what remained. The enthusiasm was unmistakable as students reflected on their progress from the previous school year and brainstormed ideas for new additions, including native plants and pollinator patches, as well as creative signage made from recycled materials.
Beyond gardening, the club continues to emphasize teamwork, environmental awareness, and hands-on learning. Students learn about sustainability, composting, and the importance of caring for living things while building pride in their school community.
With fall in full swing, the RSE Garden Club is already planning for next spring’s projects, ensuring the garden remains a beautiful and educational centerpiece for the entire school year.
